PNEUMONIA
My mother died on January 3rd, and
my 81 year old father went down with a cold shortly after which developed into a severe chest
infection. He has had chest infections before, but I had never seen him so ill. Obviously the
mixture of shock, loss and grief had combined to make him exceedingly low.
The General Practitioner who called
on him on January 12th said that he would have to go into hospital if he didn't improve by
the next day.
The next day saw no improvement,
and I sat with him waiting for the doctor to call again. By this time my father's breathing
was laboured, and he looked and sounded extremely ill.
Subsequently, the doctor decided
that my father would be better off at home but to call them again if he got worse. I really
thought he was going to die, and, on talking to him afterwards, he said that he thought so,
too.
Dany Carol gave my father healing
over the telephone that evening. When I rang him in the morning he said that she 'had worked
a miracle' and he felt like a new man. He had had a really good nights sleep, and his whole
voice was changed.
When I went round to see him, he
was a changed man! Never have I seen such a turnaround in someone who was so
ill!
My father said, 'all I wanted to do
was to get into that hospital and die'. He is now on the route to recovery and will be able
to attend my mother's funeral.
I cannot thank Dany enough for this
wonderful healing as well as all the advice and help she has given me at this very
distressing time.
